games FAQ

I represent a company. Why should I be interested in a license?

Online games have a great marketing potential. For example you can rebrand them, build customer awareness of your products to increase revenue, drive more traffic to your site by organizing competitions and much much more.

I am a home user. Should I license a game of yours?

The games are free to be played online on our server. If you are a home user, you don't need to get any license – the games section is ad-supported.

I really like a game of yours. Can I have it for free?

There's a lot of work involved in a game. Three to five people work for weeks (sometimes months) to create a new game. Personal use of the game is free, you can play it from our server. For commercial usage we have several licensing models that should appeal even for very small companies.

I am the webmaster of a site. May I link directly to your games?

You may link to the web page (html) not the game itself (swf). Doing otherwise is unethical and sometimes illegal (see “deep-linking” lawsuits). If you want the games, license them!

Do you sell or license the games? What are the terms and prices?

We give you the game, including full source code and documentation along with a licence that gives you the right to do (almost) anything you want with it. We just retain the rights over the original programming and design elements. As for pricing... as far as we know, you won't find quality professional games at a lower price anywhere. No monthly fees, no royalties, no time or territorial restrictions or any hidden clauses.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards (VISA, Mastercard, etc.), wire transfers and PayPal. We specifically do not accept cheques.

Will I be able to modify a game by myself?

Yes. You'll receive the full source code, as well as documentation to help you change the design or gameplay. We also provide full support.

If I get a licence from you, do I need to pay royalties?

No. There's one-time fee and nothing more.

I like the terms. How much does it cost and how do we proceed?

Contact us via email.

Do you only make the programming, or can you provide more?

Everything you see in this site is done by us. Our team is experienced not just in programming, but also in character design, graphics, photography and music.

Can you do more than just games?

Actually, game development isn't our main activity. We are specialised in site design, multimedia, 3D artwork, photography and more.

Could you change a game to suit my needs?

Of course. We can change the look & feel of a game to integrate with your site branding... or you can do it yourself if you prefer. Our games are created with flexibility in mind, and in many cases you don't even need to know anything about programming to make modifications to the game.

Can you do a new game based on my ideas/specs?

Yes, of course. We are quite busy most of the time, but if the game idea is interesting and challenging, we'll do it.

What if someone “steals” your graphics or code?

Of course, there is no copy-protection mechanism in this world that could prevent someone to reverse-engineer the code or to extract graphics/sounds from an application, be it Flash or anything else. If a person or a company uses part of code developed by us or any media elements created by us without our permission, they’d be infringing upon our coprights, according to the laws of any developed country in this world, and we won't tolerate such a behaviour. In USA, the Digital Millenium Copyright Act further restricts one’s right to reverse-engineer or decompile a program. However, we are not secretive; if you want to know how a game “ticks” just ask us. One of our programmers will find the time to give you some answers.

Why do you make Flash games?

First and foremost, we make these games for you to have fun with them. Also, we make them to get a better understanding of Flash technology. A game is probably the most demanding type of application; not only does it have to look great, to have a good interface and intuitive controls, but the programming also has to be top-notch.

What kind of games do you like to make?

At first, when Flash4 was released, we were creating remakes of classic games. But with advanced Actionscript, it's possible to do so much more! Advanced AI, pathfinding...
